Full Mixing:

The full mixing service comprises of all the elements a song will need to reach completion.  If a fully dynamic, quality, clear mix is what you’re after then this is the service to choose.  As well as applying necessary processes and adjusting levels, we may also edit tracks and clean up certain areas of performance where we see fit.  All effects, processes, re-amping, drum mixing and post production are included in the price.

Fixed Rate: £20 per hour

Drum Mixing:

Mic’d up acoustic kits can take quite a lot of attention to sound right. All the processing including panning, EQ, and compression are applied in great detail to get a tight mix you can use to great effect.

Alternatively, if you are using modelling capabilities, we have different options for you to get the sound you want. With access to all the latest Toontrack ® software, we can turn your MIDI performances into perfectly executed drum tracks. Similarly, we have a library of great acoustic drum samples suitable for all genres, from pop to death metal, for use in samplers and step sequencers for drum replacement.

1-3 songs: £15 per hour

4-8 songs: £10 per hour

9+ songs: £5 per hour

Guitar and bass modelling and re-amping:

Didn’t get the tone you wanted first time around? If you recorded a dry DI track along with your guitar performance, send it over and we can run it through a huge selection of tonal possibilities until you nail the tone you’re after. Line6, IK Multimedia, as well as many other plug-ins and re-amping tools can be employed to achieve your perfect tone.

Also, if you don’t have the facilities to mic up your cab, simply record using the pre-amp signal, and we can run it through a huge library of cabinet impulses to achieve a great power amp/cab/mic signal chain with perfect results every time.

1-2 instruments: £10 per song

3-4 instruments: £15 per song

5+ instruments: £20 per song

Mastering:

For a small additional fee we can also master your tracks to get them loud, crushing, and as openly dynamic as possible.

Flat rate: £10 per song

DVD’s & Postage

Depending on the options available, you may want your projects sent to you backed up onto DVD. Each DVD costs £1.50, and postage costs will be subject to your location. A quote will be given on request.

Additional Info

When mixing someone else’s work, it’s always best to receive the tracks as pure and unprocessed as possible. As much as you can, please refrain from adding any plug-in effects such as EQ, compression, limiting, distortion, reverb, or anything else that alters the sonic qualities of the file.

All major files and formats are accepted, as well as all sample rates. Just let us know in advance.
